Dalam kunjungannya ke kampus Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) baru-baru ini, Duta Besar Palestina untuk Indonesia, Fariz Mehdawi membuka kemungkinan kerja sama pendidikan antarkedua negara.Mehdawi mengatakan, tahun ini pihaknya akan mencoba mengorganisasi sejumlah mahasiswa Indonesia untuk belajar tentang Palestina, dan melihat secara nyata kondisi Palestina. Pengumuman peringkat website perguruan tinggi versi Webometrics Januari 2011 baru saja diumumkan hari ini (2/2). Seperti dirilis di website Webometrics (http://www.webometrics.info/rank_by_country.asp?country=id), peringkat website UNDIP (http://www.undip.ac.id) menduduki peringkat 5 Indonesia atau peringkat 1004 dunia atau naik cukup signifikan dari peringkat yang lalu (nomor 9 Indonesia atau 1517 dunia versi Juli 2010).
